Marcus Green and Tito Windham both signed today both previously played for Oklahoma. Also Olive Branch DB Sanchez Blake joined the team this week in practice.

Blake grey shirted because he had shoulder surgery around singing day last year and Memphis was tight on numbers. Gave him extra time to get healthy before his "clock" starts. I really thought think he will be a hidden gem for Memphis.

Blake is indeed dirty, but in the old school hard knocks hitter way. Watching him some in HS, he makes it tough for WR's to get off the line of scrimmage. His performances, with a bum shoulder, against Dillon Mitchell (Oregon) and AJ Brown (Ole Miss) last year should have been enough for offers alone.

Will be interesting to see where he plays.... could play CB, S, or possibly OLB depending on how much weight he puts on. Dude is what I would term country strong. Will be a special teams head hunter and did well returning kicks punts in high school.

With all due respect, I think the "dirty" aspect this thread took on is more of a play on words with Blake's first name than an assessment of his on-field mentality.

That said, the dude truly is an old-school lover of contact. If he's got the speed, he'll make us a good corner.

Alec Long (Jackson TN, Liberty Tech) named Jackson Sun's West TN Special Teams Player of the Year ... article notes he will play Safety. Elijah Harris also first team Defense.
