huh? We've been a revolving door of beat writers who have done well and garnered national attention to move up in their careers (meant in a good way for us and them)

true, but I don't see one side being treated differently by fans than the other side.

That's true, our basketball program has had an excellent tradition of sending the CA's (or whomever else's in the beforetimes) beat writers to bigger and better things.

I don't know if Schad will do the same but that's only because of the state of print media, not because of his abilities.

There was a long thread just recently on past basketball beat writers. Many posters felt the writer must love the Tigers to do their job.
