ps: Jenifer is good!!!
They all look like All Americans against this team, too bad they couldn't do it up at Hinkle.
This. They have been pretty much invisible against top competition.
to be fair they don't get any chance in those games to really get in a flow.

Me too. I think he's on his way to being a very solid point guard for us. It will be interesting to see who runs the offense next year between he and Broome.
Wouldn't surprise me if they both start.

The type of game really helped them. Especially Jenifer. He looks really good in a fast paced game like tonight.

Really?
URI- 32 minutes. 4 points. 2 rebounds
ISU- 34 minutes. 2 points. 7 rebounds
Butler- 42 minutes. 4 points. 2 Rebounds
They are reserves for a reason. The above is terrible. I do not care how you split the minutes. For this team to win big games we have to get more from the bench. Period.

They sure looked good against an athletic team. Considering the rest of the schedule, should add up to a lot of wins.

Winning on the road against anyone is hard. Against top 100 teams it's really hard... against top 25 teams it's like besting a top 10 team at home. Uc's key bench guys are frshman other than jennifer. Tonight was a good sign. Need these guys to be able to give quality minutes against Good teams. Not there yet but showing promise and skill to get there.

RE: UC-Texas Southern Game Thread
Unless you count Marshall next week and that might even be a reach, UC will play its first six games against real high major level teams away from home. Rhode Island, Penn State, Iowa State, Temple, and Houston. The schedule flips eventually where all the home games are against high major level teams and the road games are against bottom part of the league. Starting in mid-January UC's home schedule: SMU, Temple, Xavier, UConn, and UCF.
It difficult to get a read on the young players when they don't have a chance to play at home against good teams until another month. The hope is that by March it doesn't matter where the game is played.

Very optimistic about the way Jennifer and the freshmen are progressing. Doubting now if it will ever happen but hope the light comes on for Quadri to fit better into the offensive flow. For the season he still is the only one of our scholarship players
without an assist for the year.

I didnt see that. But there was a blatant travel in the first half for the other team. Inbound under the basket and they threw it to near half court. The guy caught the ball and hopped on one foot trying to not go over half court. We ended up getting a shot clock violation, but it was still a travel
