Anyone else having trouble loading the EMU board from their phone? I use the app on my Android and lately it'll just spin away on the loading screen without ever loading. I've hit a few other boards and they seem to work.

Yup its been awful lately. I use the app on my iPhone and sometimes it updates threads and sometimes it doesn't. I have had to stop using it and just wait til I'm at my computer.

Sounds like the problem E Tough and I have been having...

How do we go about having them update the app? My phone tells me at least once a week that "this app is running slow and the developer should update." I miss posts all the time now and cannot click on any links in posts.

Agreed. App needs help. Use webpage whenever possible.

I refuse to use it. It's so full adds that it is next to useless much like mlive. Mlive is so add based that it takes nearly for ever for anything to load and if you change pages you have wait again it's faster to read a paper.

The app is being phased out with Aurora.

The app is literally rebranded Tapatalk. The issue is Tapatalk tracks the most recent versions of MyBB and we deliberately do NOT do that due to serious and systemic performance problems with current MyBB as well as an update pace that is simply not practical for enterprise.

Regarding ads in the app, you should only be seeing a splash ad at launch and then one bottom ad, nothing more. If you see any thing other than that, your phone probably has malware on it.

I'd strongly recommend not using the app anymore. When Aurora launches it will have a mobile display friendly interface baked into the website itself.
