Paxton Lynch controversey in Colorado
The story is for comment development. Lots of fans have opinions. Some not worth paying attention to, but simply run the gamut of criticizing each other as to being critical of Paxton.

Take a look.

End result Paxton needs time. 07-coffee3

One error is that story-Broncos offense has NEVER been faster than Tigers last season. Put Pax behind Cowboys OLine and you would see some good results. Broncos can't block

Pretty laughable to question if a player is a bust after only two starts, especially considering their lack of running game or offensive line. I have watched Lynch and he has a lot of learning to do but two games in is way too early to begin calling him a bust...

That's my thought as well. You saw that in some of the comment section. Those that know...like Paxton a lot.

I guess most people expected that he would be starting by now. Getting beat out by a guy that only started 14 games in college and almost wasn't even drafted doesn't help either. He has looked pretty awful when he has been in there but Denver has a small playbook when he's in there.

He has definitely been underwhelming thus far but he is just a rookie. Hopefully, a year in the league and some PT will have him ready to go next year.

Paxton was an absolute bust his first year here too- everyone wanted Jacob to start and Fuente went with Lynch. He got better each year and he will in the NFL too, once he gets some experience.

Dak (Dallas) has more offensive stars around him in Dallas, Dez, Whitten, and that RB are superstars, plus the O-line is really good. Makes it easier for a quarterback.

To ask if Lynch is a bust is the definition of an absolutely ridiculous question. It's not even worth discussion. The guy has started 2 games and played in another, in which he played very well.
It's a dumb question.

Broncos offense will have to do some serious reflection at the end of this year. They're just not good. Top down. Pax is the least of their concerns. Simien looked terrible Sunday against the Titans. And it's not his fault either. Playcalling, GM, o-line, running game - all play a role. To pin the blames on a couple of rookies that you put out there is Browns-esque.

To be a good QB in the NFL, you have to be smart, at least in terms of football. The knock on Paxton isn't about his physical tools as it is his ability to learn the playbook, read defenses, advance through his progressions, etc. Based on what I'm hearing in the media from his coaches, it sounds like they are losing hope in him.

As good as Leary is, he is not even remotely the cowboys best O lineman.

Thats a strange way of spinning the details.

Siemian took nearly as many college snaps as Paxton and has already been in the NFL a full year longer.

Hard to believe anyone thought Paxton would already be ahead of him at this point. Most knew that he really needed another year in school, but because of the coaching change he entered the draft early.
