If LT's stronger next year it could have a NY6 bowl season with success vs that schedule. But I don't know what the teams prospects are.

I heard a rumor we didn't even practice for NSU in 2014. We were at #5 Auburn the next week, so it's believable. True or not, I think we've learned that lesson, and you best believe this will be a revenge game. We'll destroy No Skill U.

As for Mississippi State, we beat them in Ruston in 2008, although we've lost on the road to them 2 times since. Unless they improve significantly next season, I feel good about that game.

South Carolina is a game I think we can win, but I also can't help but think we'll find a way to screw that one up.

I've been looking forward to the 2017 schedule for a while now. 7 home games to include a nearby SEC school. Our first two games should be nearly sold out between an in-state (former) rival and a nearby SEC team. Add to that getting Southern Miss at home and potentially (I'm taking all these crossover "leaks" with a grain of salt until I see the official schedule) getting Lane Kiffin's Owls at home and we should have a killer home schedule.

5-0 in the Joe this season, let's go 7-0 next year!

As stated above in conference you will have the same number home as you do away so you have six home games not seven. Also the cross division games will be one home and one away.

Good one, not unless Holtz figures out to finish the regular season strong instead coaching his worst games at the end of the regular season.

Two years in a row Tech has played the worst game of the year at the end of the regular season both times against USM

Although I think this is a schedule that could set us up to get there, I don't trust Holtz enough to pull it off. And even if he did, I don't think we'd stand a chance tbh. Unless we just destroy everyone, to include Fail State and SCar.

Holtz will keep us competitive in C-USA, but I can't see him getting us to the next level. Or rather, he might get us there, but he won't be able to get it done.
