Owl fans can't be too upset with Strong rebuffing them. Tampa weather, Florida recruiting mecca, tons of gorgeous women, plenty of things to do in the I-4 corridor.

I'm not upset about anything, but he's a college head coach being paid a lot of money. This isn't vacation.

I wish Temple would consider Jim Leavitt. His brand of football was meant to be played in the North. And he's good at what he does.

Wouldn't have a problem with him, but if we're hiring someone older, I'd want someone looking to stay here for a while.

and I SOOO hope he doesnt. I love The Jim and dont ever want my Bulls going head to head with him.

I am in shock Schiano hasnt gotten the temple job. I dont care what anyone says, that man turned Rutgers into a damn good team. I hate playing against him. Hes a freaking nightmare. I am glad they arent looking his way, because he would keep temple as a power.

Strong was never offered the job so he did not rebuff them.

I hear Tommy Tuberville...a real college coaching legend...is available.

Are there any good golf-courses out in the Philadelphia area?

Merion, host of five US opens, is probably at the top. My cousin wants to play Glen Mills with me and says it's outstanding. I used to play Cobb's Creek many years ago. It's okay. The other one I used to play was Paxon Hollow in Media, Pa. Don't remember it much.

I don't know why this is so difficult to understand, but no one likes Greg Schiano at all.

Temple fans, admin and alums want nothing to do with Schiano. Made a career out of one good year with the Rugrats

RE: Temple HC discussions
KC Keeler may be in play at Temple according to coachingsearch.com.

12/12

- Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman reports Sam Houston State head coach K.C. Keeler is a possible name to watch for Temple.
- The Delaware News Journal reports Richmond head coach Danny Rocco will meet with Temple officials today about their head coaching job. Rocco is believed to be the frontrunner for the Delaware job.

- Old Dominion head coach Bobby Wilder will not interview for the Temple head coaching job, and he was offered a new contract by ODU on Friday, according to The Virginian-Pilot. Wilder briefly met with Temple officials last week. The paper adds Temple is interviewing candidates today.

This is true. Temple is good about keeping the front and back doors locked and the shades pulled down.

RE: Temple HC discussions
Schiano would be a disaster for Temple. We need strong teams in the East, not regression.
