Temple is better than expected and a tough place to play but maybe UC will catch them with the student section away for the holidays; certainly a game UC could and should win, especially if they can work toward some offensive balance in these coming games.

While it was a game we could have played better and possibly won, if there is such a thing as a "quality road loss" then the Butler game would seem to reflect that in these polls. UC's RPI and Sagarin rankings are good as well.

I agree that the Cats need to take care of business for the next three games and if they win the next two they may jump a tick in the polls before the Temple game.

Long, long time until Selection Sunday. I expect no less than three and more likely four AAC teams when the season unfolds. That doesn't negate what has been a very disappointing pre-conference showing for the American this year.

Football has exceeded expectations in the AAC (with the exception of UC of course) but basketball needs work for sure.

I don't honestly believe we are deserving of a top 25 ranking at this moment in time, but I'll take it.

Kenpom has us 23. Seems about right. Top40 adjusted offense is really solid for us. I'm hoping to get to top30. Defense dropped a bit with butler foulfest but I'd still expect uc to be a top 5 to 10 adj defense by season's end. Do those two things and they are a top 15 caliber team.

UC is 1-2 vs ranked teams this season. Unfortunately only Butler is still registering.

All three while on the road too...

After last night the Bearcats are up to #32 in adjusted offense. To date they are easily the best offensive team of the Cronin era. They are sitting at #10 in adjusted defense. I don't think we've seen the best of what they can be on either end yet. I really like this team's chances to be a top 15 caliber team by season's end.

We get it, you dont think Cronin is a good coach. keep hoping for the glory days to come back...O Wait We are in the Glory Days (Great Coach, UC Alum, Doesn't Embarrass the University). Cats are going to make a deep run this year and you're just going to have to deal with it!
