Florida Recruiting.
So Jim McElwain, Jimbo Fisher, and Mark Richt are at the big 3. Charlie Strong at USF. Scott Frost at UCF. Lane Kiffin at FAU and Butch Davis is at FIU.

The state of Florida is going to be a real ***** to recruit in. Some of these high profile coaches are going to go down in flames.

FIU and FAU are going to steal some recruits that would normally land at UCF and USF. I am kind of worried...

RE: Florida Recruiting.
The main thing is to combat **** P5 out of state schools and such from stealing talent. I'm pissed that we've lost two recruits to Kentucky, but I suppose that's to be expected when UK had their best season in a decade and we went 6-6 in a lesser conference. Plus it sounds like UK has some bag men for football now too. I guess Calipari is rubbing off on Stoops.

Out of state schools will likely feel it the most.

Some yes...others no....as there is always a large percentage of FL recruits that want to go to school/play out of state.

Just like how there are out-of-state players that want to go to school/play for a team in FL.

Yes, tough with all the schools recruiting Fla (3 P5 and 4 G5) - and Tex. We have 5 P5 schools and 5 G5. California on the other hand has only 4 P5 and 2 G5 with much more population than either Fla or Tex.

Yeah, I think the schools outside florida should be more concerned.

UCF seems to recruit a little more out of State compared to USF and other Programs

but thankfully this new Staff is going to other good Football States(Tx, Ok, Ca) to fill each class

Thats because GOL was terrible at in-state relationships.

No reason we can't have 4 (or even 5... UGH) p5 teams in Florida

Per capita, we have more FBS recruits than any state. I almost feel for Frost.... He just walked into a buzzsaw. His job was much easier 1 week ago. Now he has three of the most prolific florida recruiters added to the BIg 3. Its gonna be like a western shootout.

I like USFs chances. The staff Strong is building is full of closers.... guys who have been recruiting this state for a long time. I dont think were breaking into the top 3 anytime soon, but if we can stay at 4 with all this talent around, well be just fine.

Davis and Kiffin will upgrade recruiting at FIU and FAU but they will still behind USF and UCF in stature so Strong and Frost will win most of those head to head. The schools that will suffer more are the lower P5 and other AAC,MAC,CUSA schools that recruit the state.

So Iowa state is going to suck even more now.

Yep. Iowa State, Kentucky, Marshall, Western Kentucky to name a few.
FIU and FAU are going to start beating out CUSA,MAC teams recruiting Florida
USF and UCF are going to make it more difficult for the Iowa State, Kentucky, Vanderbilts, Purdue, Cuse, Pitt that recruit the state.

We could field a starting lineup on offense with 'University of Temple'.

I don't mind a little out of State recruiting but GOL would randomly go get slow white guys with no offers from Pennsylvania.

Most of Frost's Out of State offers are from other Football rich states like Louisiana, Texas, OK, and Cali

For the QB position you recruit anywhere, every other position UCF should be able to fill in most of the class from Florida as the ties continue to improve

Everybody recruits Florida. ECU stole 2 of their best ever recruits from the sun shine state in CJ2k & Jeff Blake.

We just grabbed a RB from Florida today that had offers from UL, Miami, Mizzou, Miss St., VT, etc.

FIU and FAU could surpass UCF an USF for a short period of time. It is just hard to sustain
