If AFA rivalry games were at neutral sites
According to MEETWAYS, both games would be at appropriately, Soldier Field. Would you like to see the games at a neutral site? (Not necessarily Chicago)

RE: If AFA rivalry games were at neutral sites
I'm kinda surprised Army and AFA haven't looked at doing a neutral site game in San Antonio or DFW, taking advantage of Ft. Hood's military presence, and that would help both of the academies get into Texas more. I also believe that Navy should try to get at least one neutral site game in San Diego every year to take advantage of the naval base(s)/marine corps base(s) located there or near there. Navy also needs to look at doing a neutral site game in Jacksonville, FL too.

RE: If AFA rivalry games were at neutral sites
Dallas and San Antonio have each bid for future Army/Navy games. So has San Diego and some other cities including Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, etc.

Personally, I like the idea of the game moving around from city to city. I think it would give it more of a Super Bowl feel. Also, that would truly make it feel like something that belongs to to all Americans.

However, I also love the tradition – especially when Army/Navy is in Philadelphia – where it belongs. I believe I read that Philadelphia is almost exactly equidistant between the two academies. That makes it the game's natural home. Maybe they could play it at Philadelphia most years with once every four or five years the game could be played in a series of different cities like Orlando, San Francisco, Chicago, etc.?

There are hundreds of military bases. It is not possible for the academies to play at all of them.

One of the things that makes the Army/Navy game great is the cadets. If you move the game too far you loose that.

If anything, Air Force and Colorado State should be in Denver. That's the game that should be neutral.

I am OK with the Army-AFA games being on campus. It is not the big rivalry.

I want Army-Navy in Chicago for 2026 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of the greatest games ever played.

Are there aircraft carriers large enough for a football field?

Having in the NE corridor decreases the expense of moving the Corps and the Brigade. While I could see doing a Game in Chicago for the anniversary, it won't go much outside of its current locations

I'd love it if they had Army-Navy near the cradle of liberty (Foxboro). :)

That expense isn't a worry for the academies, because they require the host city (or promoter) to pay the bill for transporting the midshipmen and cadets to the game. But it's obviously a concern for the city/promoter. Billionaire NFL owners like Jerry Jones and Paul Allen would have no problem paying that bill, but it would be a significant cost to bear for other places far from the northeast.

Army just played ND in San Antonio a few weeks ago in a Shamrock Series (ND home game moved there) game.

RE: If AFA rivalry games were at neutral sites
Not sure if AF vs Army or Navy in a neutral would really work as AF doesn't have the followers that Army and Navy have. The place to test it out is to have AF and Army play in San Antonio. SA has 3 air force bases and 1 army base. If there is a place to test this out it would be there.

Islay: according to meetways, the halfway point is just outside Philly.
