TU vs OSU Stats and Observations
http://www.tulsahurricane.com/news/2016/...71-67.aspx
Very close game which is reflected in the stats (at the right of the page).
Pat Birt didn't start the game and is still having problems shooting the outside shot. Some of the other players seem to be attempting to pick up that slack, but from my seat, we will have problems doing that unless Birt finds his stroke.
Good luck to OSU the rest of the way. When they do well, it helps our resume' - at least it doesn't hurt it. It was also nice to see most of the OSU fans applaud the TU FB team when they were introduced.

RE: TU vs OSU Stats and Observations
We have to remember how young we are. Pat Birt is the only senior we have and we have a couple of kids waiting in the wings to fill his spot when he does graduate - redshirt transfer Curran Scott who was a starter at Charlotte as a freshman, and up and comer Lawson Korita - both of whom are in the same size range (6-4 to 6-5) as Pat. So we are very young and somewhat inexperienced. That will all change next year. So bless his heart, Pat, may not be missed as much as we feared next year. But to get us to the next level this year, it would help if he suddenly caught fire.
Magnay played a little more like the freshman he is and we got beat on the boards, but this team has its best days ahead of it and Will Magnay is a "BIG" part of that. We have a week off and then play Texas St (who finished 15-16 and 8-12 in the Sunbelt last year) at home, so we can lick our wounds a few days and get back in the swing of things soon enough.
