Interesting perspective being in the AAC...Although NOT being considered a "P" conference. Coaches are transcending into "P" jobs, as well as former coaches of "P" programs are finding refuge here in this conference! This is VERY exciting while simultaneously "telling" as decisions are made without much haste... Stay tuned as to what is becoming more than just a "trend" but may become the "norm" as bowl games are being played,relevancy is ALWAYS key!

We are definitely on an upward trend! Being that our ratings have been better than the toughest "P" conferences weaker divisions stand strong. Coupled with some of the previous years bowl results, could also factor into "P" prowess by the AAC. Not a bad place to be in....just keep negotiating based on achievements and don't let the networks slide us a slighted deal.

Although UL bolted to ACC, I would have to think that our brand is in more demand to help bolster ACC appeal.....Don't think UL is holding their weight as a stand-alone product

EVERY major analyst said Strong was in the process of building a monster. The young guys and the incoming class are special players.

Tom Herman is walking into a GOLDEN situation. Herman is gonna get all the credit for what Charlie Strong has been building the last 3 years.

Strong just needed one more season

Again the hire is fabulous for The American Conference and just continues to give us the validation we need to be considered as a major conference

I think it's a good hire. He'll need a good staff, but I think he'll keep them strong.

what exactly needed to be built that was going to take him that long.

Strong may be a great coach, but I see that Bridgewater carried him his last 2 seasons at Louisville and he failed to succeed with higher ranked players than he had at Louisville.

He will likely succeed in season 1 because he will have a QB similar to Bridgewater in flowers but we will see if he can replace him.
