It is definitely getting fun. Headed to Pittsburgh Wednesday and hope to see an Owls win at Pitt Saturday night.
Safe travels. I know it's going to get ugly weatherwise in the region. Hopefully, you get snow instead of the ice threatening my area, and your MN experiences can be called upon.
Have been digging out our MN cold gear...definitely will need it.

I will check those stub hub tickets when I get home tonight, but I think we are in Row S. The Kennywood Amusement Park Holiday lights are free for those over 55, so we will wear our Rice gear there on Friday night, too.

We will be representing Rice at the Kings vs Penguins game Friday night.

TSU has some good transfers (just like the men) - they actually destroyed UTEP on the road although it appears that UTEP is way, way down on the women's side this year (maybe the men's side too).
Some of the men didn't look rusty from finals - I thought Evans was certainly rusty though on his shooting.
The two things that have stood out to me this year are our improved depth and the overall improvement in Egor's game. If he keeps this up, he could become a Ricky Pierce style beast.
Aside from his improved defense and rebounding, Egor is much, much more consistent this year. Last year he'd have his good shooting games followed by games when he couldn't hit anything. I still think Jackson and Cashaw need to look to shoot more.
From what I remember, last year Egor struggled once the opposition game planned to stop him from behind the arc. It took him several games of sub-par shooting before he began to drive to the basket in those situations and score inside the paint. Also, since the only other legitimate scoring threat in 2016 was Evans (with Jackson injured and Max Guercy or Bishop Mency not being great shooters) it was much easier to key on Egor. This season, a team cannot key on any of the "big three" without getting burned by the other two.
