Army Finally Breaks The Streak!
An awesome game, won by Army 21-17. Only one penalty for 5 yards that I saw during the entire game, and zero by the Army. That was very refreshing. A very special game... here's to all the Cadets! They don't need to pet puppies or have a safe space. The best this nation has.

Imagine that...teams that play disciplined ball and don't beat themselves.

Great win by Army!!
Just not sure if I'd use this game as an example of disciplined football given all the turnovers.

Mistakes, yes, but it is college football in it's purest form. These young men know they will most likely never play professional football. They have much bigger fish to fry, but they play for pride and the love of the game. Didn't see anyone kneeling down either. I see these kids and it makes me still have a glimmer of hope for this country.

I never like to see completely one-sided rivalries, so I'm happy for West Point today. Pulling for both the academies in both of their bowl games as well.

Actually, both teams turned the ball over 3 or 4 times. Lots of mistakes out there today.

This game is special. When I was younger, I never really thought so. But with a little age and maturity, I really appreciate what all these kids are doing. Which makes this game as special as it is.
I am happy for the cadets. But I am proud of all of them.
I love how this game takes center stage this weekend. And I hope is always takes this spot in the college football landscape.

Yes, the first 25 or so years I watched college football, I was always bored by Army-Navy. My attitude was "two bad teams running the ball all day, who cares".
But the last fifteen or so, since around 9/11, I've come to really appreciate and enjoy it, I now watch the game start to finish.

Congratulations Army. Watched the game from beginning until end. It was a great game. Yet even better Army came away with a winning season at 7 and 5 and is bowl bound again as a reward for a great season.
I really hated to see Army struggling in recent years and hate to see any of the Academies struggle with losing seasons. Its great to see that all the Academies can play and win on a competitive level again at this time, and it great to see that all of them are going to bowls again this year.

Congrats Army!
The game is indeed special, for more reasons than just football. These teams definitely deserve this game to be after CCG week.

RE: Army Finally Breaks The Streak!
Given that Brian Kelly kicked a FG to cut a lead to one against Navy with 7 minutes left last month and never got the ball back, I cannot understand why Navy punted to Army with 4:30 left on 4th and 3. That's a bonehead decision.
