No need to worry about it now. If you want a win starting at the midterms you worry about moving forward not looking back. If the dems start moving forward now they can catch the republicans flat footed.

Not by re-electing Pelosi. This is not looking forward.

Mach, you're a good poster, I've enjoyed your posts for several years. But the irony of your statement...

Here's a chart to to aid you:

I think you're in the anger stage. Although there's still a touch of denial.

In response to your post, do I think Putin preferred Trump to Hillary? Absolutely. Hillary would have started WWIII by instituting a no-fly zone. Trump is the peace candidate who acknowledges that Russia does have some legitimate national interests, the same as the US or any other country. Did he rig/hack the election/voting machines? No. Hillary was just an awful candidate.

I would not be surprised to learn that Russia supplied some documents to Wikileaks via intermediaries though. That's not rigging, that's just exposing a corrupt candidate's dirty laundry. I'm okay with that especially given that none of the emails have been shown to be false. Hillary and the Dems only have themselves to blame.

That's really good Jugnaut. I think I'm more depressed with touches of anger and resentment. Good stuff.

Mach there's nothing you can do now. We had to endure 8 years of an administration that I didn't like. You can suffer thru 4.

As gdunn said, the right dealt with it for 8 years. For libertarians like myself, you can add Bush's eight to make it a rough 16 years.

Mach, life goes on. I found that focusing on my life, family, and local community, helps you forget about how F'd up Washington is. Turn off the doom and gloom of the MSM.

With your expectations of Trump super low, maybe he'll surprise you to the positive said. I do think he will be a populist which could be great for this country. Only time will tell.

I had super low expectations of Obama. Hoped for positive surprises. Never materialized.

Jugnaut,

You've made me feel better. Honestly. Two things have sent me over the edge. Actually three. The EPA pick. Rumor of The Exxon CEO as S of S. And Ohio's heart beat bill. That's three shots to things I believe strongly in.

Honestly Mach, I think Trump was the 1st choice of very few that visit here. However, most held their nose and pulled the lever for him because of how awful the choice was that the Democrats to put forth - and both the DNC and media colluded to make sure she was it. Face it, Hillary was an awful campaigner, lied out her a$$ about every underhanded thing brought forth - she is just terrible.

After we all saw the left meltdown........who could resist pretending Trump is the best thing since sliced bread!

EPA was my favorite. The EPA has been guilty of mass murder under Obama. Mass murder of jobs. There has been unbelievable over-reach and the courts have had to slowly beat back their moves.

Now if climate change is your big thing, realize that nothing we do will make any significant difference in the next 50 years. I think its more important to have a good economy so that we can deal with the dislocations.

Yep. Wealth can deal with problems. Poverty, well you're just stuck with them.

Who wanted Trump to be President?

Almost every one of the 45 nurses that I work with on my floor did.
Even the democrats did. They hated hilldawg, and found her disingenuous, and power hungry. The ones that voted for her, did so only because she was a female, and/or they are bleeding hearts like you, Mach.

I wanted a successful person to be our president, someone who has actually accomplished something in their life.

RE: Who wanted Trump to be President?
I think the Dems' big failure was believing Hilldawg was inevitable. It's like they learned nothing from their own '08 primary.

Hell, I don't blame you. I thought she was inevitable, too. I just wasn't happy about it.

Turns out she was such a train wreck a nut like Trump could beat her.

When the ads attacked Trump's judgement, it begged the question of Hillary's.

Lord, bad sociology papers are going to be written about this election for a long time.

Trump did a massively better job hiring help. Hillary hired a bunch of vile, amoral, delusional marginal criminals like herself.

Trump hired Kelly-Anne Conway who kept him relatively straight and on message the last month. That's a massive task.
