It is not mindless because it happens in basketball believe it or not. The article gave an example of a player at Duke who was a bust during his entire four years at one school. It gave other examples of not catching on the first year at the school and then transfer and still didn't catch on during his entire college career. There were other examples on not catching on at all during their entire college career in the article.

the mindless part is your part of the discussion because I have presented proof through a documented story that having an All American and three ranked players doesn't necessarily means a team should automatically be "good". A player or two or three may not pan out immediately or sometimes never. You are throwing crap against the wall hoping it sticks.
