Great year for EMU football
Congratulations to your football team.

- Great season!

- Terrific coach!

- Bahama Bowl Bound!

Very impressed with EMU and hope it continues. Also, very happy that you were rewarded with a Bowl game. Win one, not only for the school, but for the MAC.

Also, have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

I still think Bunsis was out of line...
“I don’t think it affected our players as much as people thought,” Creighton said. “They believed and trusted us that football wasn’t going anywhere. We were good, in terms of the team. But when it becomes national news, it’s brutal on recruiting. Absolutely brutal. Honestly, I think it affected our staff, in terms of recruiting, more than our team.”

05-nono The only problem with that 'excuse', is the previous 2 years recruiting rankings were just as bad as this year seems to be.

The STAFF was affected more than the team? The whole Bunsis BS story was quickly and harshly refuted by the AD/Regents etc., and our team has had it's best year in 30 years! THAT is the story the staff has had to share with recruits for months. Stop with the recruiting excuses, and start getting results.

Still have 6 weeks to finish strong with the Juco's, and next year's class 'should' be the best at EMU in a long time......unless these guys just can't get the job done.

Sorry if that's harsh after a great year, but this year is over. This bowl game, extra practices, and last 6 weeks of recruiting is all about building for next year.
