If you don't want it dead, don't call the Military.

If you call the military, expect them to kill it.

If it's hiding behind children or in schools or churches, there will be collateral damage.

If you're not willing to accept that, don't call the military.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” Gen. James Mattis said, “we will probably look back on the invasion of Iraq as a mistake — as a strategic mistake.”

Trump’s nominee for secretary of defense was one of the Iraq campaign’s most important ground commanders. He led the 1st Marine Division during the invasion and later oversaw the bloody retaking of Fallujah from insurgents in 2004.

I COME IN PEACE

I agree with him 100%.

Now let's watch the resident republicans twist themselves into a pretzel over this one. 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

For years I have said that I was originally in favor of invading Iraq, but now realize it was a mistake. I admit that I was wrong in my initial agreement.

As you can now see, you are probably the only one with the balls to admit it.

Exactly.

Kill people and break things, that's what the military is good at doing.

So? He agrees with Trump.

And a majority of the American people.

Personally, I think there were just tactical mistakes-1) going in light; 2) disenfranchising the Baathists; and 3) electing Obama as president to totally screw things up.

We made a major mistake in not letting former Iraqi soldiers have an option to become a part of the new Iraqi army. After all most didn't want to fight for Saddam anyway. Many became the insurgents that built the IED's used against Us and new Iraqi replacement troops. The other mistake was not being more forceful with Turkey to let Us use Air bases and Air space . Pakistan was given Billions of dollars to stay out of it but harbored Our enemies as They took Our money.

Agreed. I knew we were ****ed on the second or third day of the invasion, with the imbedded media breathlessly reporting that the Republican Guard had run away, showing piles of uniforms, helmets and webbing by the side of the road - and no weapons.
