I hate Memphis because we haven't beaten them since my son has been alive.

I hate Memphis because my ex lives in Collierville and that's close enough.

I used to hate Memphis because of their thuggish Calipari era players, and their arrogant fans.

I can't say I hate them anymore. Calipari is gone. Partner humbled the fans and ran off the thugs, who were also their better basketball players. And Tubby Smith is a class act.

I do still strongly dislike them, though

I hate them because they've beaten us a million times in a row. They made Mike Davis look like a deer in the headlights. Them and the CUSA tourney.

I'd really like to to beat Memphis just to finally get that monkey off our back, but I really don't hate them anymore. During the Cal years I absolutely despised them but like MB said, the culture around the program seems to be completely different now. Also, they owned us for so long it just felt like this rivalry lost its luster.

Honestly, I have more "hate" towards Auburn now than I do Memphis.

Still can't stand their trash fans...

I find that most of my Memphis hate followed Calipari to Kentucky. I would absolutely love to get a win though. The last game we beat them was one the first UAB games I ever attended. It's been far too long.

Because **** Memphis thats why.

I hate Memphis for Vaden going 0/17 and we lost,but not because of Vaden going 0/17 but, because we still had a chance to win and the ref swallowed his whistle on an obvious foul.

I hate Memphis because I'm tired of their "Fat Lady" singing right after their team introduction because she knows it's over

I hate Memphis because of the 2008 game at Bartow. That will always be the one that got away.

But still the best college basketball environment I've experience anywhere.

I have a strong dislike for Memphis. When Calipari and the thugs left... my disdain dropped slightly... every so slightly.

I hate Memphis because I never lost to them In football.

I dislike only playing Memphis on the road.

I've had some fun times in their city...but I gotta say...their barbecue stinks.

Because they sullied the legacy of Gene Bartow and Larry Finch by hiring Dana Kirk and John Calipari. Deep inside I suspect they are far more comfortable with those criminals than with Coach Bartow

I hate Memphis because of Andre Turner, Vincent Askew, Keith Lee, William Bedford, Baskerville Holmes and Dana Kirk. And the 3 buffoons that lost their whistles in overtime while calling the NCAA Tourney game in Houston in 1985.

Me too. Imagine what beating the undefeated #1 team featuring the nation's best player (D Rose) would have done for our program. It at least would have resulted in another NCAA trip for us in 2008.

Man, Aaron Johnson had Rose's number. It was like watching a chihuahua chase off a pit bull.
