This should be a fun discussion especially after the loss to URI !!! I don't think FECESU plays defense as well as URI or is as physical. If they press us we should get easy buckets in transition. I suspect they do like URI...token pressure on the ball handler until we get across half court. I don't have a good feeling about this one. If we can score above 68 we win. 60 to 68 is a pickem. Below 60 we are toast.

I like our chances at home on Bazemore night. Crowd should be in to it at least. If this were on the road I'd say its a loss. Personally I think that loss to LOU really sucked the confidence right out of them. They had a chance to make a statement to the rest of the NCAA basketball world and they blew it b/c they couldn't make FT's of all things. I think they need a sports psychologist or something.

Question - a buddy of mine is trying to get tickets but all that are left are "General Admission". Where is GA at the Ted? is it in the Student section or is it the opposite end?

Either/or. They don't check tickets in any section in the lower bowl (other than courtside) to be honest.

I'll let him know. My gf and I are sitting in 105 and he wanted to get a ticket to be close to us. He's a student so he can get it for free but he would pay to get an actual seat and wanted the bobble as well haha

It's also a little sad that student tickets for a VCU game are still out there 3 days before the game... Maybe my expectations are a little too high

If exams begin Monday, students are either prepping for them or, if a big crowd of them show, coming in for one final blowout. IMO

Someone from ODU will see this and all of a sudden they will start checking every ticket as if they're the TSA. But I have had season tickets for the past 2 years and not once has someone asked to see my ticket after I'm in the building. I have found people in my seats more often than not. So, I don't think he will have a problem getting into 105.

Now, if you were upstairs. Then he would have a problem.

(Maryland Monarch, b.t.w., gets the credit for originating "Empty Sue". Equally as classic -- especially if we ever one day figure out how to beat them.)

FecesU actually goes back to the late 70's or early 80's when the WTKR Seagull made a vacumn with FecesU written on it and he went around the VCU bench acting like he was sucking up the FecesU players. I know there are some old guys out there who remember that. Miss that Seagull, funny as crap.
