I saw the title of the thread and I expected to see someone replying to Alex Trabeck, "what are coaches that got fired from high profile jobs."

I don't think anyone does 07-coffee3

I'm willing to give Les Miles a chance. Kiffin, on the other hand, can go to Rice and rot in obscurity as far as I'm concerned.

I almost want kiffin now, even if he will screw us in the end.

we have our own 5star qb, not sure we need him..but this would be interesting for cincy (who could use a clean slate) or temple who loses walker

Temple QB situation is fine. Anthony Russo.

LSU target

The NCAA is just waiting to get a shot at punishing somebody for all of Lane Kiffins years of infractions. Any G5 school that hires him as HC is just begging to get SMUed.

i know russo, i watched the elite 11, but russo is a 3star without many offers who hasn't taken a meaningful college snap yet
he could easily flop, you never know

cornwell was a top 50 recruit by some, and his rating dropepd his senior year but he was a 5star top 15 reruit most of his junior season

5 star doesn't mean a thing once you're on the field, pesik.

Stars shmars. Most sites had Ward and Kolb as 3-star recruits and Case as a 2-star. I'd say all three of them worked out just fine.

I wonder what job Fleck is waiting for? Most of his ties seem to be in the midwest. Notre Dame, perhaps? I don't recall any coaches in recent history jumping straight from the MAC to a blue-chip program. He would certainly be wise to stay away from the perennial basement-dwelling P5 programs. That's why I think a jump to a program like Cincinnati for 2-3 years could be a smart decision that would set him up for a big-time job.

i dont know about win potential but our media day would be very interesting..the top names in college football media

Kiffin is a train wreck...failed at everything he ever did...until getting on Saban's staff..

Strong can't keep his dick in his pants... failed at Texas partly for this reason... His philandering was a behind the scenes cancer at Texas.

Schiano. When he coached the Bucs he was a failure...his players wanted to slice his ass. He threw his supposedly drug addled QB under the bus...

Miles. I don't know any negatives on him.

Miles couldn't provide any offense if an insult was hurled his way.

Couldnt agree more. The Big East all time yardage leader.... Matt Grothe, a consensus 2 star recruit. OUr current QB Flowers was rated 4 star... as a WR. As a QB, he would have been a high 2, low 3 star and hes about to break all of Matt Grothes records.
