Temple Head Coaching Job - Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow
It appears that DC Phil Snow is well liked by the players, who apparently want him to be promoted. At the same time, it doesn't appear to be in serious mode yet, if ever.

Obviously Charlie Strong will be, and is, talked about as well.

I would love to see Temple take a Ped State coordinator then beat them next year...just so Missonelli and his idiot ilk would be forced to deal with it.

Temple has such a potential for being a consistently good program...but they are in a city that could care less about Temple football, no matter how well they play. Would love to see them beat PSU in football and Nova in MBB in the same season...the total meltdowns by the entitled class would be epic.

Joe Moorhead reminds me of Mark Duffner, another successful Patriot League HC but who flopped at Maryland in the early 1990s. Duffner wasn't ready for Division I-A and probably should've transitioned thru Division I-AA or at least put in several years as a coordinator at the I-A level.

Temple doesn't play Penn State next year and no future games are scheduled either.

Missinelli is an idiot but Temple gets plenty of coverage for football and have for some time now. There is also more interest in Temple football than you continually post about. Nova on the other hand does own the area in basketball and have for many years now (which has only increased with a national championship). That will continue until there are coaching changes at both institutions. And I am not knocking Fran Dunphy but Jay Wright has his program running with the elites on an annual basis.

Yeah...just left there this year. Temple coverage is nothing like it should be. Outside of local basketball, temple doesn't get nearly the press they deserve. The only team with less coverage in its "home environment" is Rutgers in NYC and maybe Maryland in DC.

Sucks PSU isn't in the schedule in the future. Would have enjoyed seeing temple best them at a much greater rate than in the past.

Looking forward to seeing temple and how they progress once they get their new hire. I'm pretty shocked at the number of guys Rhule is taking from the staff...it isn't going to make filing a recruiting class with 1 current commit any easier when your coaches don't have the right accent in Texas. Need Temple to kill it with their next hire and get the on campus stadium approved and built.

We get significantly more coverage than we did 5 years ago. I'm not really complaining about that now.

Down here in T-Town, Ok,
the University of Tulsa has ALWAYS
played 2nd fiddle
2 OU/OSU/Ark/Big 12, & the Dallas Cowboys.
Even Local High School Sports draw more coverage
than a Golden Hurricane event.

I said in another thread, Temple should look at Toledo's HC, Candle. I wish UC would.

Do you mean snow the coach, snow the weather pattern or both?

The Big 12 is turning to the AAC for defensive help.

So I thought Snow would be a Kyle Flood/Tony Levine-like hire, so I'm fine with this.

I could live with Snow, but I'd opt for a dynamic young (30's early 40's) coach.
