Temple at 15. Wow.

That's what happens when you beat a team like USF. 04-cheers

Our conference is legit and this poll gives us reason to consider further expansion, particularly out west.

If we can nab SDSU, Boise, AFA and one other we should go for it.

If we could have, we already would have. Also, that would absolutely LOAD the western division while leaving the east pretty tepid.

Not necessarily. Once the TV negotiations come up we might have more leverage.

As far as balancing the divisions in concerned, we could move a team (or two); AFA may also want to play in the east, for the same reasons that Navy wants to be in the west.

I would go with:

Tulsa
Boise State
Colorado State
SDSU
Southern Methodist
Navy
Tulane
Air Force

East Carolina
Temple
South Florida
Central Florida
UConn
Cincinnati
Memphis
Houston

We could have one cross-over game and keep the current 8-game model or go to two cross-over games and go to a nine-game conference schedule. It could work.

AAC has won me over...this past year she really showed something.

We just need UC to stop putzing around and do our part.

That's to many teams and to cluttered, we only need BYU and boise. Those are the only two that actually would bring value. Boise'sthe only thing keeping the mwc from being Cusa and byu speaks for itself. The west= Houston, Memphis, Boise, byu,Tulsa, SMU, Navy and the east= Ucf, usf, cincy, ecu,Temple, Tulane ,Uconn.. if we can get either byu or boise and make it publicly known that 14 is our magic number the pressure to not miss the last chance at being in a top 6 conference with a chance to become a power conference may work.

Do we really think BYU will join? Maybe they would not that the B12 told them no.

BYU would be huge. Boise would too. It's time to forget the Boise fiasco from a few years ago. They would be two HUGE adds and really fuel the P6 narrative Aresco is talking about.

But I still like Col St and SDSU and Air Force and Army but that's too many teams I guess.

Hahaha, funny Tulsa man. The top two east teams beat up the top west team. The west needs all the help they can get.

Navy playing in the West is frigging dumb. Always has been. Always will be. I don't mind your divisions besides that. Swap Navy and Houston so Tulsa can keep teh Rivalry and I'll be happy.

Didn't Temple get beat by a team Tulsa beat by 29 points? I think they did.

Hey, did you guys happen to see which G5 conference had the most top 7 teams in that same poll? Holly mackerel, it the Mighty MAC, with the WMU Broncos sitting right at #7 in the country. Lol.

look man, WMU had a GREAT year no doubt

but lets be honest, the MAC is a train wreck full of teams that nobody cares about that probably should be playing at the FCS level

Just go enjoy your season (your last due to your coach leaving) and just savour the moment....

congrats on a great season

haha naw...I'm happy UC is done with CTT, the AAC is better than I have been giving it credit for, we aren't going anywhere, and welp, might as well make the most of it.

Most of you guys did this a few years back...it took me a little while longer to warm up to the idea lol.
