Here's hoping we beat Butler this week and shoot up to the top 15.

Highest ranking #16,Jon Rothstein and Seth Davis both have UC at #18. Not rated by 23 voters.

Fact is UC had Butler beaten last year and melted down at the end. I seem to recall a "no call" on the traveling on that winning basket by Butler too. Those things happen; they just happened to UC all too often last year.

Butler is a tough place to play but probably no tougher than ISU. If UC plays like they did against the Cyclones and shoots marginally better I think the Bearcats roll on and climb the ladder a few more notches, remaining in the top 25 into the new year. A loss will bounce them right back out of the rankings and the remaining December schedule won't do them any favors for returning in the polls, even with a sweep.

I was looking at Butlers roster and stats. Anyone see them play so far this year? I think we will have a big advantage down low.

I'm sure they will make 4 or 5 corner 3's while we're in that matchup zone.
