When Mike Bobinski took over at GT, they just built brand new:
- Softball facility
- Basketball arena
- Indoor basketball facility
- Indoor football facility
- Tennis facility

And renovated:
- Baseball field
- Football field

And what did Bobinski do with that? Drive it straight into the ground.

And your idea of "top of the line" is way different from mine. If you think Purdue has comparable facilities to Ohio State, Michigan, or even Penn State and Michigan State ... much less the true bling dollars down in Tuscaloosa and the Deep South ... then you're even more out of touch than you come across as in the Spin Room.

Dead end athletic program. Already cratered. With an incompetent AD in over his head who has never managed a big boy football program with a clue, communicated with fans and media, or even managed coaches contracts worth a crap (he extended Gregory only to fire him the next year, costing GT millions more).

They. Are. F***ed.

Didn't say he didn't.

Seating capacity and quality are separate things. The Purdue renovated stadium and new practice facilities will be among the top of the line in the Big Ten, in quality.

Revenue is a separate thing entirely. I certainly didn't claim that Brohm would bring Purdue to the top of the Big Ten in revenue.

I'm not sure, but it seems to me that you dislike the guy.

We are giving 3.5 millon to him to build a staff. Up there with Michigan and Ohio State for best in the Big Ten.

Yes, and your facilities will be top of the line.

Really seems like your school and boosters are stepping up big time to bootstrap Purdue football out of the gutter. Good luck!

If there's ever a time for Purdue to escape the basement, now is it. Notre Dame is briefly down and the IU program might fall off a cliff now that Wilson is gone, that opens the door for them to rise up after a year or two of rebuilding.
