Would you what the sinkhole that Baylor is right now?

I will say that I would be surprised if it is Purdue, but I could see Brohm taking any chance at moving to the Big-TwelevEN if that's the open door.

RE: Brohm to Purdue??
If they are coughing up 3.5 mill per year guaranteed, dude, you gotta think about it. That's "I never have to work again" money. People can say the money doesn't matter that much. Uh, it matters. Say he fails there miserably, which he won't but let's say he does. That's 10.5 he walks with. Come on. He'd make more in 3 years than he's make at WKU in 10-11 years.

If he takes them to a bowl or bowls, then the money goes up by a lot. I think he's thinking hard and will probably take it unless he's met with another opportunity before Monday. If it was less money, maybe not but for 3.5 to 4 in Indiana, yeah, that's a no brainer. You gotta take it. If he doesn't have an agent, he's pocketing all of that plus if he wins the title at WKU tomorrow, he can ask for more which he will.

One sided or not, 3.5-4 mill per year has got to have him thinking. That cash sets him and his family up for the rest of their lives.

There's zero loyalty in coaching. Been that way a long time. You must not follow sports much.

How old are you? Do you still believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny?

Maybe they'll offer the winner of the title game.

I think WKU should strongly look to Tony Levine, Paul Petrino, Les Miles, Lincoln Riley or Jax St. HC coach John Grass who has been wildly successful at that level....

FWIW I heard that Brohm said he won't interview with anyone until after the title game. So Purdue can offer all they want, he won't listen until Sunday.

Yes Tony Levine, he is a Special Teams whisperer and I am sure has learned from his mistakes at Houston..He was not awful at Houston either..

The only thing that makes it plausible is what dahbeed brought up with the family thing. Seems like that's an important factor for him.

But I would be surprised if this is the gig he takes. I expect Brohm to use this to get another raise and come back for one more year.

Hear that guys? TIBL just went double or nothing! The pot's up to $200!

Nope. I said I agree with him. I didn't anything about money or making an offer. Nice try though.
