White graduates in May and has one year of eligibility left. This means he could transfer to play somewhere else without having to sit out. What are the chances he goes to Purdue to join Brohm and play out his last season?

that's one that hasn't been mentioned....interesting.....

with all the losses on offense, I could see that as a real possibility....

Always possible. It depends on who WKU hires. Also, I believe Purdue has a fairly experienced starting QB that will fit Brohm's system. White knows he's the starter here; why would he want to transfer to a place where he only might play for his final year?

b/c that's what new coaches do....bring in their players/coaches where possible.....

I could see Brohm giving White the green light after working with him this past year....toss in it would give JB a one year pass to recruit a replacement at a school known for generating qbs.....

wouldn't surprise me one bit...

Damn! What a time to be away from the board for a few days. I missed out on the C note.

$100 to the first poster (excluding SigNuTopper) to guess which new board name is the old SigNuTopper!

Just kidding!

Quote from WKU's AD today. Can't argue with this.

Hahahaha. I guess you think WKU is going to be able to keep a good coach? Teams needed to see his winninh wasn't due to an all world QB, like Doc was with Cato. Brohm is legit and id be shocked if he is at WKU next season.

WKU fans don't expect to keep him forever, but for pecks sake.....purdont.....geeshh! That's a horrible job and he could do much much better. That's why WKU fans would scratch our heads over this if true. Be like a NBA coach deciding to take a D League job while he was doing great at his current job....makes no sense

Actually, it's more like a D league coach taking a job with a bad NBA team. Makes perfect sense.

I can name 20 million reasons it makes perfect sense to go to the bad NBA team. Plus he brings his 2 brothers along for the ride. They will probably end up with significant raises as the assistants are paid much more at that level than we can afford to pay. I completely understand why Purdue is not a bad option for the Brohm family. Mainly it's opposite of OS and Meesheegan. The main obstacle will be entrance standards at Purdue but you face that at any Big10 school to some degree, just a bit tougher at Purdue.

Is that a birthmark on Brohm's neck or did he suffer an injury at some point ?

If brohm can coach, he will succeed. Doesnt matter where it's at. A successful person at their job will succeed

Tell me why I thought the same thing 03-lmfao

Although I'd say going from G5 to P5 isn't the same as going college to NFL.

A steeper learning curve no doubt, but by the metrics laid out, they should have succeeded.
