Hello there Tiger fans!

Been a long time since I popped over here. In fact I was introduced to this website because of when FAU played Memphis in 2007! Sadly we have fallen off, but looks like ya'll are still doing well. Congratulations on the bowl.

For those coming to Boca here is a small list of things to do and places to eat. There are many more options but this should get you started.

JB's on the Beach is a great spot to grab some food and beer on the beach (obviously). Pretty affordable from what I remember. Great prople watching in warm weather, if you feel what I mean. The place turns into more of a bar later at night so beware that it might be loud... OR enjoy the atmosphere if you like bars.

Yes thats a good place too. One town down from Boca in Deerfield Beach.

Correct, but they have almost got out of the liquor store business to focus on dining. The one in Boca doesn't even have a liquor store attached.

The Morikami Park gardens are insane. Well worth the visit.

I worked a couple of years at a software company in Boca. Get atmosphere. Awesome people. The airport is a joke though. I'd rather fly into Miami and then drive. Boca has some nice shopping areas and there are some great bars located in some of the great hotels on the beach. Rush hour can be a real PAIN and as with just about everywhere in Florida it typically rains at least for a few minutes every day (though not as regularly in the winter).

I did consider moving to Boca at one point. It's a nice area.

Not gonna lie, while not exactly true. I have seen them on streets, in pools, and even in garages. Rule of thumb for my family, is "If there is a body of water close, theres an alligator nearby.

And yes even on FAU's campus.
