Tough team !! Even though we beat them last year at our place this Team is battle tested. They have a little more scoring but look very similar to us. If we can get a little outside scoring a few easy buckets in transition we could pull the upset.

Lets beat the Rams that I can stand a little more than the other Rams of the A10!

Rhode Island (KP#41, RPI 43) is the 2nd best team on our schedule behind Louisville. This is going to be a really tough road game for us. I hope we continue to play to the level of our opponents for this one.

(KP) = Ken Pomeroy computer rankings. Universally accepted, but still too early to put a lot of weight on them. KP and RPI just used for reference here.

Rhode Island:

Lost by 10 to Duke (KP#2, RPI 44) on a neutral court

Won by 5 to Cincinatti (KP#21, RPI 37) on a neutral court

Lost by 3 at Valparaiso (KP#77, RPI 71)

Lost by 3 at Providence (KP#56, RPI 27)

ODU is KP#98, RPI 122

This early in the season, RPI is worthless, but kenpom is usually pretty decent gauge. Going to be a tough game....hope the game thread doesn't get too long. :)

Giles: Agreed on the RPI. It gets pretty funky pretty quick.

It's streaming on the A10's service, but not on Facebook Live so I think you're going to have to pay to watch.

Correct - The A-10 Network will be streaming the game. The best option (unless you want to have full access to more A-10 games) - is the 24 Hour pass it looks like. This will run you $6.95.

If you click on this link: A-10 Streaming Page - the ODU game should be the second event listed.

You can click "Watch Live" on the right hand side and will be redirected to their subscription options. $6.95 will get you the 24 hours, and access to the game. From what I can tell, you should not have to worry about cancelling recurring payments, but I would make sure when you check out.

Check for the Live Facebook stream as well similar to how they did the UR ODU game. Might not be available, as I havent checked yet.

Some thoughts on us from the URI message board. Some see us as a formidable opponent. Others not so much. I hope we find some offense and ride home to the Ted with a 2-0 record against A-10 schools when we face vc"u" on Saturday. Here's to going 3-0 versus the A-10 this year!
