Allocation of Cotton Bowl money/spending
Does anybody have an idea how much money NIU will most likely be getting from WMUs Cotton Bowl birth? If so what can we expect this money to go towards? Can all of it be directed towards stadium upgrades? From the looks of it NIU saved money by not going to a bowl and received $400k. I would love it if this extra money they fell into would be the kick start into the master plan/stadium upgrade.

The money will be used by the men's basketball team to play in a Las Vegas post season tournament that nobody else wanted. All that extra practice last year sure helped our team this year.

Would be incredible if the money gets dialed back into NIU FB.
Hopefully a coaches reserve fund, for either bonuses or a buyout.

Sadly no athletic money is going towards stadium renovation, it will be 100% privately funded.
