Despite Brohm leaving; Western still has a legitimate chance to beat the Tigers in the Bowl. But, after watching Memphis play BYU last year in a Bowl; I know Memphis will win the Post Game Brawl. Seriously looking for a real shootout.

I never stated football , but yes I would. Memphis is a name recognition school within driving distance that the avg fan would come watch just because of the name, it could also help to start a basketball series which would bennifit both programs because of travel and fan support.

BYU was the year before last. We played Auburn in our bowl game last year.

Where is everyone planning to stay?

I'm looking at the Boca Raton Resort (which is the official hotel). The bowl rate is $199/night. Not bad at all considering that it's extremely nice and on the water.

Just wondering if anyone else has found a better setup?

time is my constraint - flying in the morning of the 20th to Miami, meeting friends that afternoon, game, back to Miami (staying close to airport) and back out early on the 21st.

Guess it depends on what you are looking for. But if you have a wife or family that enjoys the water Wyndham's will win out. The ocean is warm in this are of Fla all through winter. Go 75 miles up the coast and it starts getting too cold to swim in Dec. And if you like to fish there's a fishing pier right beside you. Even if you don't like to fish if the ocean isn't very rough you can see straight down to the bottom almost all the way out. Wyndham's is the easily the best value.

If you are driving take the time to make the 25 mile drive up the coast to Palm Beach. President elect Trump's winter home is only 25 miles from the stadium. The Kennedy's also have a home in this area. A lot of golfers (Tiger) and a few older Rock Stars (Last year Rod Stewart almost hit us pulling out of his drive way) live with in 25-40 miles of the stadium. If you go south from Boca (about 10 miles) you will see the most expensive home in America that's on the market. Think it's listed for 139 million

Thanks for the advice. Looks like I can get the Wyndham for $151/night for a standard view.

Basketball vs Memphis was always fun. CUSA hoops in general was always fun and I like the direction it's going. Apologies if I took a left when you went right.
