ESPN's Selection Show Sucks!
I'm tired of hearing about the Playoff. Most teams aren't in it. How about reporting about the other bowls too.

RE: ESPN's Selection Show Sucks!
Reminds me of when someone leaked the March Madness brackets out on Twitter early so they actually had to talk about the games instead of padding everything out. Wish that happened here with all the bowls.

RE: ESPN's Selection Show Sucks!
I agree. They went on too long with the Top 4. I mean, it was no shocker. Clemson won, Washington won... yeah, go on and explain by PSU shouldn't have gone from #7->#4 to override a 1L team there when they had 2L... but that problem already existed a week prior of them being #7. They'd only be able to be the best 2L team (thus, #5) at that point.

That should only go on for a little while and touching up on it any time the question comes up. But no need for 2 hours going on about the Top 4. There were no shockers. 30-45 minutes? OK. 2 hours straight (and then some later)? NO.

Hey, ESPN has to drag out this 60 to 90 minutes of content into 6 hours. Furhrer Mickey DEMANDS his revenue quota be met.

Chris Peterson was somewhat miffed when ESPN yakked on and on before revealing the final team in. This isn't freaking "Dancing with the Stars", "America's Got Talent" or "Who Want's to be a Millionaire"? Well, maybe the last one.

No different than a TV college football special where they only talked about P5 teams. They have 24 hours of TV time to kill, on multiple channels. You can't expect any programming of merit other than the actual games. The rest is just filler, done by mostly P5 shills who know no more than the people on this board, but pass themselves off as "experts", as if we should care what they think.

You could have saved some typing in the title had you deleted the " 's Selection Show"

I like the fact that they get on the coaches and players. It's really a moment for them and the players. Fleck was great.

Honestly though, they should obviously make it a full bowl preview, which I'm sure they do at some point on another night.

Plus they are head up versus the NFL at 1 o'clock hence the check back to 2:30 for the other matchups and timings during half time.

I expected to wait on number 4. It was all the other bowl matchups they wanted us to wait for I hated. So glad Brett McMurphy started leaking them on twitters
