But a win over UCF of the exalted AAC would look better on ASU's resume.

At least we don't have to stress about selling a bunch of bowl game tickets this time, because we have an excuse this year. Unless its a NY6 bowl, most fans just ain't going to do a 26 hour round trip to watch a football game. I really really really want to go, but this trip is just too far right before Christmas. The team better go to Disney World and WIN!

ULL and Troy fans get their wish, the ASU's (also co-champs) get the bowl that makes sense for the other fan base. Good plan.

Two words...............this is what you get when you have "Karl Benson" as the league commissioner.

You can thank Karl Benson for bringing five bowl tie-ins to the SBC but he doesn't pick which teams go to which bowls.

If you think Benson doesn't have a strong influence on the bowl selections I got a bridge to sell you. New Orleans is supposed to have first pick of the bowls and a STRONG commissioner would make them take the league champ every year since they are #1 in the pecking order. But Benson lets them take who they want as long as the league champ is in a bowl. That's why you see a 6-6 ULL team there this year instead of App St at 9-3. Think about this. App St could be 11-1 and you would STILL see ULL in N.O.

Yeah so we can empty the conference coffers covering everybody's loss of money on bowls...that would be real smart of the commissioner.

Has Benson ever done anything to make you think he is a genius? Did you forget he was the commissioner of the WAC? A league that is now defunct thanks to his poor leadership?

App St would sale its allotment to NO, that shouldn't be a concern.

After that egg Troy laid yesterday it should have been Ark St DG, Troy Camellia, App - Cure.

That requires our coaching staff to treat it as something other than a glorified exhibition.

We do appreciate your ticket sales financing our trip to Orlando and USA's trip to Tuscon. This is a game where we normally lose a lot of money...hopefully the Cajuns show up 40K strong in NOLA to soften the blow.

I never said KB has no influence, I just stated the fact that he doesn't make the decisions.

In some parts of the country. I didn't get access to the channel until last year. Many cable and satellite operators put it deep into their sports packs.

ESPN's got it backwards. Arkansas State has already confirmed game and opponent via email to fans.
