I get it that it's a symptom of where we are. P5 is a better place. But the AAC is better than a lot of other places. How about being a CUSA school who might lose a coach to the AAC? And if you want a P5 coordinator, you may not get him at CUSA, but you certainly will at the AAC. Especially now that we've proven ourselves.

He's under .500 for his career and will face much tougher competition in the Pac-12 every year.

Also Eugene is difficult to recruit. There was a time when three million uniform combinations and the best facilities in the league helped a little. Now every team in the Pac-12 has top notch facilities.

And thanks to TV money some perennial "also rans" made name hires in 2011 (see Wazzu, Zona, and UCLA).

I just don't see him "killing it" at Oregon, but I could be wrong.

A lot of the stuff he ran against us in the 2nd half was blown up early only to have flowers to make him look good.

I partly agree, still you can't deny the run South Florida has had since their loss against us early last October.

How proficient was Quinton Flowers last year?

He is criminally underrated IMO though. He ought to finish T10 in the Heisman but won't.
