Rhule to Baylor is a bit of a setback for Oregon, who made a strong play for him last night, two people w/knowledge told @USATODAYsports
If he chose Baylor over Oregon, then Oregon doesn't want him. Poor judgement - bad decisions.
Oregon fired a coach that took them to the CFP you dont want those expectation when you cant recruit Nationally like Rhule
Baylor is an ugly mess. Facing sanctions and losing money. He is setup to fail. He'll not be around to see them out of it - they never are. At least at Oregon he would have a shot at winning.

He was offered Oregon, and passed because they expected him to win right away. He had zero job security at Oregon. Baylor gave him $5M+ a year and basically said we have no expectations for the first few years beyond you running a clean program. Waco sucks, but it's pretty hard to fault him for not turning down at least $15M for a program that could've dumped him after 1-2 years of not meeting unrealistic expectations.

He's not going anywhere for a long, long time.
Interesting.
It came out of nowhere, and the other day he made a statement about leaving a legacy. It's all bull****.
Another dreamer crashes to Earth. I hope you're not a Millennial - that will lead to curling baby position in your safe space.
Very judgmental.
I'll pray for you.

Are they paying him that, for real, Clark? Did BAYLOR just make RHULE the 3rd highest paid coach in the NCAA? If so, they are ________ (your choice). And if anyone thinks they made him the 3rd highest paid coach in the NCAA with no expectations, they are naive.
But, yeah, take that money to the bank.
