I like the matchup a lot, actually. The last time we played we traded wins in 2009 & 2010 in 2 of the most fun games I've seen. 2009 was a come-from-behind victory in the Dome and 2010 we blew a lead in the final minutes or we'd have finished 7-6 and gone bowling that year.

Gotta be honest... this bowl is the bowl I am most happy to see happen. Idaho has been hosed over (both by their own hands with poor coaching hires and from the outside, with us giving them the boot) that this one is "earned" for their players and fans.

Well, we kind of got hosed over again here getting stuck going to Boise. I know none of you guys have ever had the misfortune of setting foot there, but it's basically a more redneck mixture of Spokane and Salt Lake City where everyone likes the smell of their own farts. It's like San Francisco if San Francisco was a complete dumpster of a city where the plurality of people believe you go to hell if you drink alcohol or don't wear magic underwear.

Opponent is fine, but I do think we'll lose.

I share my fellow Vandal fan's opinion of the Boise area but there are a lot of pluses to this and I see why it happened. We'll sell 5 times more tickets to this game than we would have in Tucson. It's better in-state publicity and national exposure for Idaho, and it will end up putting more pressure on our administration to stop being such sniveling wimps. In the end it probably helps our hail mary FBS hopes and takes out 99% chance of dropping down down to 98.5%.
