That kinda irks me that graduate transfers from UT and Iowa State couldn't even pass grad classes at Tech. If I'm not mistaken 2 grad classes are considered full-time on a quarter system.

They probably didn't want to pass...just wanted to play as long as they could without doing anything. That's a gamble with grad transfers and JUCOs in a quarter system. We lost 5 starters before the 2014 conference champ game.

I think so too. You would think Grad transfers are a lot safer bet than Juco's. Grad transfers have already graduated college and most JUCO's are prop 48 or non-qualifiers. These two had already graduated from Iowa State and UT-Austin both really good public schools. And they couldn't even pass 6 hours of grad classes at Tech? That tells me they didn't even try or go to class.

ODU D against #107 passing offense App State? 31-7

Against #36 passing offense NC State? 49-22

Tech played against #1 Texas Tech, #8 WKU and #12 MTSU.

I think both Tech and ODU defense is bad to be honest, I have seen nothing from ODU against quality opponents to think their defense is worth even talking about

How did it do in the rest of their games? How many did they give up to UTSA, USM, UMASS,etc?

Do you think points given up accurately reflects a defensive performance? If say, a team threw a pick 6, would that be counted against the defense ?
