RE: Congrats Temple and Matt Rhule!
How did Navy score 75 and 66 on SMU and ECU and then scores 10 in the title game.
This conference.

Congratulations Temple. It takes a lot to break the Navy home winning streak and you just did it.
Yes, I'll call the East the weaker division, two years running. As if it matters.

Always liked him. Glad for him today. Congrats Temple. Kind of poetic justice. The AAC is essentially the old Big East which once kicked Temple out of the league for not holding their own. Talk about Karma?
Hat's off to Temple!

This team is better than last year. Never thought I'd say that after the Army game.
I hope Rhule stays with us.

Great with for Temple against an outstanding team. Take away the dreadful loss to Army, who is not really that bad, and Temple would probably have gotten the nod over WMU. After all the other two losses were to CFP contender PSU, in a good game, and 10 and 2 USF.
The conference has a very competitive top of the league where any team can beat another on any given day. It's a shame with all the beating on one another that they took each other out of a NY6 bowl as a result.

Goodness, you're right, I messed up. Still a good win and not a bad loss.

I remember the first time ECU played Temple back in 1982. Happy to see Temple where it is at today and enjoyed watching them win the AAC Championship
Great job this season Temple ! Now go kick ass in your Bowl Game !

Nicely done Temple!
1. Hats off to Navy for their service to this country (can never be said enough)
2. Temple surprised the heck out of me today
Right now, I'd put Temple against any team in the AAC and expect the Owls to win. They just got better as the season wore on.

Hoot hoot what a day! Thank you Navy for being great hosts today. Your team is really good, which makes our victory that much more appreciated. To Matt Rhule, Philip Walker, and our outstanding defense, congratulations. This is Temple's first ever football conference championship, and what it means to old guys like me cannot be overstated. Go Owls, go American!
