Today should tell us quite a bit
Can we challenge UTA for the regular season title? Can we finish in the top 4 and get a first round bye? Do we have any shot at getting a reasonable seed, in the NCAA tourney, if we win our tournament? I have no idea what the answers to these questions are. I believe I'll know a good bit more after today's game. We still don't have Deshawn Watkins. But, I'm not counting on him to be a star when he returns. I heard a ton of great things about Oliver before the season. While I have no doubt he will eventually become a productive player he is certainly not there yet. Deshawn will likely have a learning curve as well.

RE: Today should tell us quite a bit
We have a way to go, but like you say, today will be a good indicator.
