Sure it does. Massive structures are very impressive to prospects. Take a look at JMUs half stadium going south on the interstate. It’s very nice. You can see VTs stadium from a mile away. Other than the student center it should be the impressive signature building on campus.

We went from 30k waterfront stadium. To 23k at current location with nice upgrades. Now to 20k cheap stadium.

Sad news to report.
The RB we signed yesterday, Will Knight from Delaware, lost his older brother in a car accident tonight.

http://www.delawareonline.com/story/news...974102001/

Quote:A 22-year-old Philadelphia man killed in an accident north of Smyrna has been identified by Delaware State Police as Wade W. Knight.

The accident occurred about 8:25 p.m. on Smyrna Landing Road, near Brick Store Landing Road.

Knight was driving a 2001 Lexus at a high rate of speed, according to Master Cpl. Michael Austin, a state police spokesman.

After proceeding through the intersection with Brick Store Landing Road, without stopping at the posted stop sign, Knight lost control of his vehicle, which then traveled off the roadway, striking multiple trees, Austin said.

Knight, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected, ultimately coming to rest on the southbound lanes of Smyrna Landing Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.

"Knight was the sole occupant of the Lexus and no other vehicles were involved in the crash," Austin said.

An email circulated by the Smyrna School District that was obtained by The News Journal says Knight was the brother of Smyrna High School star running back Will Knight, who announced on Wednesday he was attending Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

"At Mr. [Smyrna Superintendent Patrik] Williams' request, I regret to inform everyone that last night, Will Knight's brother, Wade, was involved in a car accident .. and did not survive," read the letter signed by Smyrna Elementary School Principal David H. Morrison. "Will signed with Old Dominion University yesterday, so we can only imagine the impact that this will have on the family on the heels of such joy.

"The District will be working with the family, of course, and SHS has already met to prepare counseling for their students. This is just an unspeakable tragedy that will have repercussions on our entire district family."

Calls to Williams and Morrison were not returned.

Will Knight sparked Smyrna to three Division I state titles. No one from the Knight family could be reached for comment Thursday.

I respectfully disagree with you. I think the height of our football stadium is far outside of the top twenty issues our football program is facing.

That's terrible. My heartfelt condolences to the knights family.

Looked to me like there was a bunch of, probably, football recruits there tonight. Anybody got any names?

They usually host a Junior Day on MLK Day. There are most likely tweets from those who were offered.

Nice to see an in-home visit after he was at JMU last weekend. He'll visit Liberty this weekend and then ODU on the weekend of Jan 26th.

Just lost a 3* commit

Julian Sams, an Offensive Lineman. He was our first commit, but didn't sign during the early period in December.

I think he chose ODU over UConn, but may have better offers now.

Any of the guys that didn't sign in December are likely able to be flipped in my opinion and it's why they didn't send in a LOI.

Big hit. He was our best offensive line recruit IMO.

A good example of why the early signing date is so crucial.

Exactly. But, I know grades are issues with some of them so its not always uncertainty.

I guarentee we would have lost others this year had they not signed early. OTOH, it may hurt us in getting late committments to fill the gaps from lesser schools as well.

Love that the guy asks that people respect his decision. Whats there to respect about giving someone your word and then backing out of it? I understand the decision, but don't respect it at all.
