NCAA men's basketball competition committee will include Jay Bilas, Clark Kellogg and Kiki Vandeweghe.

The first student-athlete to serve on the competition committee will be Nicholas Norton, a junior guard at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Norton, whose father, Randy, is the women’s basketball coach at UAB, was his team’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2015-16, is president of the school’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and serves as the chair of Conference USA’s Health and Safety Committee.

What an honor for Nick!

Wow, what a role for Nick. Maybe he can get to know Bilas and get us some fair coverage for the bubble conversation at any point over the next 3 years.

That's FN awesome. Maybe the committee will reverse the awful decision to make games foul fests. 48 fouls called last night!

If Bilas has any pull on this committee, Nick is getting a paycheck next year.

Norton might have more impact on UAB as an alumnus.
