into Memphis undefeated at something like 12/13-0. I glanced at their schedule and it appears they have a legit shot at being unbeaten when they arrive here to play us.

We will win the game and put their first loss on them. They will be ranked and it will give us a nice win.

Let's hope that they come in ranked anywhere in the top 25.

It will be interesting to see the attendance. It's been awhile since we had a full building for a Tiger game.

After that opening round of home games we are due for a big game.

Full building doesn't seem possible right now, hell I would be happy to hit double digits, our fanbase really sucks sometimes

I will look into SC, find out what they have. Pretty good defense if I remember correctly.....Shot-blocker in the paint that's the BEST I've EVER seen! Watched lots of basketball. SC is legit.....our ability to move the ball; attack their defense early on the fast break; making mid-range jumpshots can give us the win! Because of multiple weapons, we have a legitimate shot against ANYONE

Yep. And per seat donors aren't coming back and paying $$$ per seat until demand is huge. May be years and may never get back to that level again. An E8 run by Tubby might do it.

My row is full

After missing the tourney in 2015, we upgraded because someone got rid of their seats

My old section 106 is pretty much empty

I still think most of the prime seats are sold they just aren't showing up

If you still think that go to Ticketmaster and look at individual game tickets for sale. University slow to release them still hoping for season ticket sales at discounted price.

If the fans aren't back by February then the bashing is deserved

A lot of people stopped coming because of Pastner

That excuse is gone now

Our schedule has always for the most part stunk in November

Bye games and those special games that are part of the early season tournaments

Everyone is excited for football season right now. Once the season is over and basketball ramps up to conference play, people will start showing up. The Cal years sold so much because we were good, but it also benefited that football was so bad. Plus this team has no expectations from the majority of the fanbase. Win a couple games against OM, SC, OU, or UConn and people will show up.

So you mean our hoops fans aren't really SEC football fans like everyone on here says?

Go figure

What is going to change to make BB fans show up? Not as much overlap between FB and BB as people think. I doubt we break 10k in the seats but a few times. Used to a huge disappointment if we got that low.

I posted that attendance would fall to this level during the coaching search

Wasn't this true last year as well? They have an awful OOC.

Should have given them their first loss last year. Just hope they do not shoot 63 FT this year.

Gee, what a shock that a fanbase that was ignored for years isn't just flocking back. Nobody wanted to hear it, but we may never recover from what Josh did to this program.

RE: Another prediction...South Carolina could come...
I have 4 seats & my first game will be Sat. at OM at Oxford, ironically. I'm just having a tough time getting motivated to drive over from Atlanta to see cupcake home game with JSU, Incarnate Word etc in the pre-season. I've been saying for virtually the entire time since Cal left, that Memphis needs to schedule some games of interest OC. I'll probably make OU at Norman but probably won't make a home game until SMU then stick around for SC & UConn (if the duck hunting is any good). Have to say that if I still lived in Memphis, I'd probably be there but still very disappointed in the schedule.
