One of the more logical articles I've seen on this topic. One of the reasons conferences can get spread out is for recruiting purposes. While something will eventually happen, I'm not so sure it will be a collaborate effort across all parties. I see more of a group of CUSA members separating and bringing in some of the best SBC members to create a 10-12 team league. Leaving the leftovers to fend for themselves.

...It makes ya wanna puke on your balls....It looks as if in a couple of years you won't even be able to watch us on TV, well Hell, you could barely watch half our games this year....oh sure, the University could film it and upload it to the spacebook page, but that costs a lot of money and we don't have Hancock county high school type of money to do that....oh well, nothing we can do about it now.

I would hope that if USM can't move up soon, and it looks unlikely that will happen, then maybe the best of the two can merger.
