Iowa State is 65-5 in that building over their last 70 games and they sellout every game 14k plus. It would take a miracle.

Iowa State is averaging 88 points a game. They are a dangerous squad. Monte Morris might be the best PG in the country and Deonte Burton is a beast. This will be a tough matchup for us, especially if Clark is out or not 100%.

I think the home court advantage will carry ISU to victory, but we wil give them quite a scare, but fall short late.

Eh, they really are a very good defensive team closer to a low 70 ppg team. What does scare me is they are team that goes on big runs, 15-0 against Gonzaga to claw back in. The Bearcats seem to have big run let downs this season.

They played the citadel and savannah st and scored 113 and 130, but those teams seems to have the most wide open games in d1.

Citadel has played 7 games, and 7/14 chances a team has scored 100+. They gave up 112 in a win to Stetson. What is impressive is ISU defense held the Citadel in the 60's.

Savannah St has played 8 games, and 8/16 chances a team has scored 100+. Aside from the 113 Iowa St scored on them, they gave up 116 to Iowa, 101 to Fort Valley State, 110 to grambling, and 100 to San Diego St.

I think our inside play gives them fits, they go crazy from 3 in the second half and the game could go either way.

At 88 points a game they must be draining threes. So far this season, UC opponents are getting plenty of good open looks outside the arc. Ouch.

Maybe I missed an update but I wondered if Clark would really play at all. Or play on a gimpy ankle at half speed. I think this is one we all would have penciled in pre-season as a loss with all our starters playing. Timing and location are against UC but we learn nothing about this team playing the buy games so here goes.

They can stroke the three. They have a couple dudes that effortlessly hit it from 25 feet. We'll need to do a good job boxing out because even when they miss, they do a good job of getting the offensive rebound and putting it in the basket. This is where the Clark factor could be an issue.
