Santa's throws in last game
I thought Santa threw a lot of nice passes in last game. I believe with more playing time he could ne the best passer on our team. He is already a decent runner. Leadership to be determined.very few will be like Lynch but could he ne Harnish like? TBD

Yes. He's reminded me of Harnish every time I've seen him in practice. Very similar in the way they throw and move. Santa has some development to do but I think if you placed a custom order at the factory for a QB to effectively run our system the delivered product would look an awful lot like him.

RE: Santa's throws in last game
Santa had almost no reps in practice and was thrown into the fire. I thought that he showed remarkable improvement as he began to get his feet under him. I am hoping that he is pushed by some of the freshman that were redshirted this year and that a solid QB will emerge from the bunch.

"are you referring to NFL Chandler Harnish? that level? NO WAY - Never"
You'd also been able to say Chandler, in the NFL, never, after the Independence bowl.
Many on here complain about our lack of recruiting QB's who are "highly" ranked yet when I mention Zaire from ND they say he has "better" options available. Well all highly rated players have "better" options. Along comes Danny Santacaterina rated a 3* and after a game and a half people say he's just a career backup and he's not going to get any better. Yes he missed some plays, but what freshman doesn't. Plus as bikechuck mentions he hasn't been getting the reps in practice that Maddie and Graham were prior to Graham's injury. I think his arm is strong enough, he's not Lynch fast but he seems pretty tough as he was attacking defenders instead of the punishment being one way. I would start him over Graham everyday.

He was a two star recrut on rivals, scout, and 247

Harnish is certainly a challenging bar to set for Santa; Chandler had an incredible college career. Santa has a lot to improve upon, but his skills are definitely there. Given our offense scheme we can't have enough QB's. BTW, your both right; ESPN Recruiting Nation rated him as a 3 star; Rivals a 2 star.

I am not saying santa will be harnish but he is a good runner and appears to have touch. Only 1.5 games of action. Too lazy but wonder how that compares to harnish
