Students will be the slowest to come back to basketball after the Pastner era, but it's November's slate of bad games that is keeping everyone away too.

The students will be there later for games that matter.

Can we pick on the tuba players some? And why is there not MORE cowbell? And how come the Chuck Hutton t-shirt cannon shoots the thing to the north side of the arena? And the Sports Clips parachutes only come down from on spot on the north side, but from all spots on the south side.

What's interesting is my friend who is in 115 says the band is too loud. I'm on the opposite side and the band sounds great. Actually love the bass and drummer throwing down some licks right before play resumes. They shut it down just as the ball is in bounded.

All depends on your seats.

I sat right behind the pep band at Ole Miss, and they were all pointed away from me. The sound level was ideal. That's the place to be if it gets too loud for ya.
