I read somewhere that if Navy and WMU both lose their CCG's, WKU (provided they win Sat) could come out with the access bowl spot being the highest ranked Conference Champion. Thoughts?

Unlikely with the strength of the AAC as a whole. Temple will have top 25 wins over USF and Navy... That'll take the cake when both teams have 3 losses. It's WMU or AAC Champ.

I would think a 10-3 Temple with wins over Navy and South Florida would probably go before WKU, though I have no idea where either stand.

I'm still not sure whether to laugh at or just be pissed at the MAC fans (there are others, but they're the biggest batch) who are running around saying "Navy should be disqualified" because of how late the Army/Navy game is.

You do NOT move the Army/Navy game from being the last game of the season. EVER!!

It would be bigger, yes! Fun to think about but there are a lot of dominoes that would have to fall. ESPN's FPI has the Tops (34) 3rd highest G5 school behind Western Mich (23) and Boise St (30).

Man if we had just beaten Vandy, we would have a much better shot, any scenario now seems impossible...A win over Vandy now would have been a really good one!

Vandy game is the one I would like to have back...To be fair vs. La Tech we had to come back from like 24 points just to make it a game, I will give La. Tech credit in that one, they dominated....

Watched CBSN Inside College Football last night and the entire panel picked WKU besides RIch Neihusal who called our first meeting and acted like nothing will or has changed and picked La. Tech to win, we shall find out soon! The talking heads though had rather make fun of Big Red then talk about the actual CUSA title game, but I guess any coverage at is better then none....

I think you will now be seeing the other G5 and Bowls pressuring the CFP to change the Navy/Army rule. I personally think this game should be moved to the Saturday before Labor Day. Make it the Official Kick Off to College Football. That way you can keep all the fanfare, tailgating and make it the prime time game on Saturday.

When you fumble 2 times..once on the 2 and once on the Vandy 40 and then throw a INT while inside the Vandy 10 and miss a 23 yard fg..it's hard to win

Then let a team go 75 yards in 1:02 to tie the game

That is game Western had to try very hard to give away...which we did. Turned a 17 to 24 point win into a loss. This loss (the way it happened) bothers me more than any loss Brohm coached ...other than UAB

Looking forward to getting another shot at them next season. I really like WKU's non-conference schedule for next season, Vandy, Illinois, Ball State, and EKU.

If you guys would have beaten Vandy, LaTech would have beaten USM (that way they come into CC game as a stronger opponent), then you guys beat LaTech in CC game, WKU would be looking very good.

On that note, if USM had not lost any game, they'd be looking really good too.
