Exempt Tournaments
Listened to Coach Keatts show today. He said one of the big draws for the Challenge in Music City tournament were the 3 games in 3 days.
Are they all like that?
He also gave an interesting tidbit that we were in contact with the Great Alaskan Shootout, he said they called us, but chose this tournament in Nashville. Are there any other tournaments out there you think we should consider for the future?
I know tournaments like Maui are awesome but getting an invite is not very realistic. The Charleston tournament always had a CAA team, it will be Hofstra next year. What else is out there?
This Nashville tournament was good competition wise but no video in 2016 is no bueno

RE: Exempt Tournaments
If your team is in good shape and looking at the tournament, these exempt tournaments are great for preparing you for the conference tournament and the actual tournament. Pushing your team on tired legs becomes real late in the season so regardless of the competition these are worthwhile for teams expecting to be in the post season. For teams with no realistic chance, the only benefits I could see are gaining extra games for experiences or to play somewhere close to a player's home.
