I think Fleck's problem is he hasn't shown success past any one level. I think it'd be a great job opportunity for CWT.

I also went to a Duck board, and although some posters were excited about WT, many were down on the choice due to his 40-45 overall record. This just shows how little they actually know about WT. Taggart took over winless 0-12 WKU program that was in shambles and took them to back to back bowl eligibility 7-5 records within 2 years. He also took over a USF team devoid of talent that went 3-9 in Skip Holtz's last year and steadily built them up from 2 wins to 10 wins all while recruiting like crazy and stockpiling talent. No one was going to win their first year at those WKU and USF programs.
Shows how little they actually know or have studied about the situation. Idiots.

Of course you do, it would get rid of CWT out of AAC.

Not sure it gets much better for WT at USF. 10-2 is a great record to sell. If he were in the championship it would be a slam dunk. Does WT risk a year possibly at 8-4 or 9-3 like Houston has had? Houston at least had some marquee match ups that they won. USF has only Illinois next year. Although with their schedule USF has a good chance of repeating a 10+ win season next year, it is just that their strength of schedule will probably keep them from any playoff hopes.

We're 2-2 against cwt. I'm not worried about it. I've always said taggart is a great recruiter but he lacks in coaching. The offense is centered around the sole talent of 3 players. Still no championships, if he stays I'm fine with that too. I just personally believe he capitalizes and cashes out.

Could be right, but if Taggart stays at USF he will always have 2 or 3 great players due to his recruiting ability IMO. Maybe not to the Flowers/Mack level but solid Florida talent. In theory, he should be able to talent his way to 8 or 9 wins every year in AAC.
He adjusted his offense to match skills of those 3 players and it's very creative. He is a good offensive mind. He called all the plays this year enroute to a top 5 scoring offense, so he must be doing something right.
Will he cash out. If offered Oregon job, definitely. If offered a mid level job like Purdue, then no he won't. IMO. He can recruit to USF by getting in his car and driving an hour or 2.

No G5 team will EVER make the playoffs if it remains 4 teams only

Looks like Fleck will not go to Purdue so he is looking more at Oregon now

Yup...Fleck is going to a major program. No G5 and no middling or under P5s either.
