Just say "NO" to the NO Bowl.....crikey!

Why NO to NO? Not understanding desire to stay away from this bowl. Quick trip for the fans allowing good support.

Playing Arky State or ULaLa is about as exciting as playing UL-Monroe or McNeese State (nothing against them, they could ALL beat us).....and I don't see our fans "flocking" down to a ho-hum match-up.

We need a match up like last year...or at least against teams from another part of the country..

and that's just me, of course Mr. Chosen One..

At this point, I want to win a bowl game and NO probably gives us the best option for doing that in front of a good crowd. If we finish with say 2 losses, then I want to play a P5 team somewhere like Dallas and make a statement. However, playing Vandy somewhere this year would be quite nice. I'm just not sure we could stop their running game.

Depends on which USM team shows up, the one from the first and last game of the season, or the 10 between..

Agree the opponent is important however fan support for this team is equally important. I traveled to Dallas last year but many did not. But appreciate your response, Mr. Eaglebeaver

But I want Juan Cocks to enjoy just one more free ride before he ends his illustrious 40 year run as THE VOICE..

..and what better way than seeing him enjoy hisself for a week in the Bahamas, feasting at alumni buffets and local steak houses (on our dime), while the rest of us bag groceries, take sh@t from our boss or take the wifey pooh on a glorious trip to maw in laws!

Triangle closed on 98! Nowhere to eat...We need ol ' Craze to come by and be the captain...

Obviously, we'd all love to play a P5 opponent, but that's not going to happen this year. We're an average team, period. We're lucky to be in a bowl after the spiral that was the second half of our season. If we're in New Orleans, let's go beat some Sun Belt team and move to 7-6, make some staff changes, and come out better next year.
